New Auckland Franchise

Interface is please to welcome Laurie Lowther as its latest Auckland based franchisee.  Laurie has extensive business experience. 

Laurie was a computer engineering specialist for many years.  Then, he and his wife, Vicki, made an investment in a small drycleaning business comprising 2 retail outlets in 1989.  This grew by 1993 to 7 retail outlets. Laurie at this point took over the day to day operations.  In 2002 the businesses were sold having grown to 22 retail outlets, 2 large factories, some 17 mobile contractors and over 300 agencies and hotels making it the second largest drycleaning operation in New Zealand.

In 1999 Laurie and his brother John founded YachtShare, inventing a new concept in boating.  As John’s chartered accounting practice grew, he sold out to Laurie who continued to focus on the business, growing it from one $30,000 boat to an asset base of over $2million. Laurie is also an experienced property investor.

Laurie is pictured above with his wife, Vicki and their children, whilst overseas recently.  We warmly welcome Laurie to the team and we're sure his business experience will stand him in good stead and help him be of great value to his clients in the South East Auckland area.
