New Franchisee in Nelson/Marlborough

Interface Financial are pleased to introduce their latest franchisee, Matthew Peacey.  Matt will be based in Nelson and will also be covering Marlborough and the West Coast of the South Island.

Matt is looking to developing his Interface business and networking with the business community in Nelson, Marlborough and the West Coast.  Explaining how he came to join Interface, Matt told us 

" I am a trained scientist specializing in molecular biology.  I completed my Doctorate in 2007 developing a viral-based vaccine that could be easily customized to be protective against a range of illnesses.  This proved to be very successful in protecting against and treating tumors.  Exciting results, yet this is still in the very early stages of development.  After taking in the world (well a good portion of it) with my wife, Nicki, I have since been working on influenza and am still consulting on the development of techniques for novel pathogen identification.

I have always been interested in working for myself and owning my own business, with a special interest in finance.  My wife and I have recently moved to Nelson, New Zealand where the opportunity to join IFG arose.  Neil Kain, my partner in the IFG business suggested this could be an excellent franchise to get involved with.  Things have snowballed from there to the point where we are about to begin; exciting times! I am looking forward to the change and challenges IFG will bring."
