We are delighted to have established fully operational offices in Napier and Dunedin in recent months.
Providing a local solution is critical to our business model. We are rapidly achieving effective nationwide coverage with the opening of these new offices.
Napier – our office in owned and managed by Bernie Morton - pictured. With many successful years of banking experience in NZ and the Pacific, Bernie brings a wealth of relevant experience to IFG. Bernie is putting this experience to good effect already. He has some significant ground to cover – from Gisborne to Masterton, but this geographic challenge is being handled most efficiently. Business generally in this part of NZ is as good as its weather. The region does not appear to have suffered the same property related downturn as the larger cities. Many small companies are still expanding and needing working capital support to fund that growth.
Dunedin – Ronda Tokona - pictured - is our new manager in the deep south. It is very important for Interface to have a good soundly based business in Dunedin. Ronda has a very interesting background having worked in government, practised employment law, run her own consultancy business, and currently sits in a part time judicial role. Interface is a very different challenge, but with her background and active business partners, they bring an extensive knowledge of the local region and good connections. Due to part time MBA commitments that last until October, her initial concentration will be based in Dunedin. After October, she will be fully active throughout Southland and Central Otago as well.
